NextCapital Appoints Matt Clink As Chief Investment Officer

Leading retirement and institutional asset management executive

NextCapital, the leader in enterprise digital advice®, today announced the appointment of Matt Clink as Chief Investment Officer of NextCapital. Most recently, Clink served as North American Chief Investment Officer for Aon Hewitt Investment Services, responsible for managing $50B in assets under management.

Clink brings 17 years of experience in institutional asset management. His specialties include pension consulting, target date fund solutions, pension risk management, product design, modeling, portfolio implementation and advisory solutions.

At NextCapital, he will work with large institutional partners to implement their methodologies, lead the enhancement of NextCapital's proprietary advice methodology, and chair its Investment Committee.

Clink is an investment industry thought leader, and research publisher on a variety of investment and risk management topics. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst, and a member of the Chartered Financial Analyst Society of Chicago. He holds a master's degree in finance from the University of Alabama, Manderson Graduate School of Business.
