NextCapital Names New Chief Investment Officer to its Executive Leadership Team

Industry Veterans Will Drive Success for NextCapital’s Employees and Partners

Chicago, Ill. — NextCapital, the leader in enterprise digital advice, is pleased to announce that Mike Sebastian has been named the company’s Chief Investment Officer (CIO). 
As CIO, Mike will further NextCapital's mission of helping everyone retire successfully by driving widespread adoption of cost-effective personalized solutions, enhanced through hybrid QDIA, retirement income, and other innovations. Mike will be responsible for overseeing the firm's discretionary assets under management.

​Mike brings over two decades of investment management and advisory experience, most recently as a senior partner at Aon. He has led large global cross-functional investment teams, worked closely with large institutional investors to improve their outcomes, authored notable investment thought leadership, and has developed widely successful methods of analyzing and constructing investment solutions at large scale.

Mike will also lead NextCapital’s Investment Committee. He will report to NextCapital President Dirk Quayle.
